New Boiler Installation in London — A-Rated Boilers

Gas Safe Registered | Next-Day Available | Includes Smart Thermostat & Gas Safe Certificate | All London Postcodes

Pristine Gas Ltd installs A-rated Vaillant, Worcester Bosch, and Ideal boilers across London, including removal of the old unit, full system flush, smart thermostat, and Gas Safe installation certificate. Our lead engineer Ralf completes most installations in one day. We cover Holborn WC1N, Maida Vale W9, St John’s Wood NW8, and all London postcodes. Next-day installation available. Call 07472 251465 for a free quote.

Every installation includes a magnetic system filter to protect the new boiler from sludge and debris, a carbon monoxide alarm, and a full customer handover where Ralf explains the new controls and answers any questions. We do not subcontract — Ralf carries out every installation personally.

If your existing heating system shows signs of sludge build-up, we recommend a power flush before fitting the new boiler. We can schedule this as part of the same visit. After installation, book an annual boiler service each year to protect the manufacturer warranty.

How Long Does a Boiler Installation Take?

Most boiler installations take one day. Ralf arrives in the morning, removes the old unit, installs the new boiler, connects the thermostat, flushes the system, tests every radiator, and hands over the Gas Safe certificate before leaving.

More complex jobs — such as changing boiler location, upgrading from a conventional to a combi system, or fitting a new flue route — may require a second day. This will always be confirmed at the quotation stage so you can plan accordingly.

What to Expect on Installation Day

  • Ralf arrives at the agreed time — no waiting around
  • Old boiler disconnected and removed first
  • New boiler fitted and pipework connected
  • System flushed and magnetic filter fitted
  • Smart thermostat installed and paired
  • Every radiator checked for heat output
  • Gas Safe certificate handed over before leaving
  • Controls explained — you leave knowing how to use your new system

Which Boiler Brands Do We Install?

Pristine Gas Ltd installs the brands we trust and have worked with for years.

Vaillant ecoFIT pure

The ecoFIT pure is Vaillant’s best-selling combi boiler and our most frequently installed model. Compact enough for kitchen cupboards and airing cupboards, it suits flats, maisonettes, and smaller terraced homes with one bathroom. Available in outputs from 25kW to 35kW. Comes with a 5-year manufacturer warranty when registered and serviced annually by a Gas Safe engineer.

Vaillant ecoTEC

The ecoTEC range is Vaillant’s premium line, suited to larger properties with higher hot water demand and multiple bathrooms. The ecoTEC plus series offers higher flow rates and improved efficiency. An excellent choice for Victorian terraces, larger flats, and family homes across Central London.

Worcester Bosch Greenstar

Worcester Bosch is the UK’s most trusted boiler brand and consistently tops Which? recommended lists. The Greenstar 4000 and 8000 series offer outstanding reliability and a long parts availability guarantee. Worcester Bosch extended warranties of up to 12 years are available when installed by an Accredited Installer.

Ideal Logic Plus

The Ideal Logic Plus is a competitively priced A-rated combi boiler that represents strong value for budget-conscious homeowners and landlords. Quiet, reliable, and straightforward to service, it suits one-bathroom flats and smaller properties. Carries a 10-year warranty when installed and serviced by a Gas Safe engineer.

Ideal Vogue

The Ideal Vogue is the premium end of the Ideal range, offering higher efficiency ratings and a sleek, modern design. Suited to larger homes and properties with multiple bathrooms where hot water demand is higher. Carries a 12-year warranty when conditions are met.

Not Sure Which to Choose?

Ralf will recommend the right boiler for your property after discussing your home size, number of bathrooms, current system type, and budget. Call 07472 251465 for an honest, no-pressure recommendation.

Combi, System, or Conventional — Which Boiler Do You Need?

Combi Boiler

A combi (combination) boiler heats water on demand — there is no hot water tank or cylinder. Hot water is available instantly whenever you turn on a tap. Combi boilers are the most popular choice in London because they are compact, efficient, and ideal for flats and smaller homes with one or two bathrooms.

System Boiler

A system boiler works with a hot water cylinder to store a large volume of hot water ready for use. This makes it better suited to larger homes or properties where multiple people need hot water at the same time. A system boiler delivers a more consistent flow rate than a combi under simultaneous demand.

Conventional (Regular) Boiler

A conventional boiler works alongside both a hot water cylinder and a cold water storage tank. This is the oldest type of central heating system and is increasingly being replaced by combi or system boilers. However, conventional systems remain appropriate for older properties with low mains water pressure.

If you are unsure which system type is right for your property, call 07472 251465. Ralf will assess your current setup and make a recommendation based on your property, water pressure, and household hot water use.

Do I Need a Power Flush with My New Boiler?

If your existing heating system is more than a few years old and has not been flushed, there is likely a build-up of sludge, magnetite, and scale within the pipework and radiators. Installing a new boiler onto a dirty system reduces its efficiency, increases fuel consumption, and can void the manufacturer warranty.

Most boiler manufacturers — including Vaillant, Worcester Bosch, Ideal, and Baxi — require a clean system as a warranty condition. A professional power flush removes sludge and debris before installation. Ralf will inspect your system and advise whether a power flush is necessary before quoting.

Signs Your System Needs a Power Flush

  • Radiators have cold spots at the bottom
  • Some radiators are slow to heat up
  • Boiler making banging or kettling noises
  • System water is dark brown when bled
  • Gas bills have risen without explanation
  • Boiler cuts out frequently on overheating

Yes. Removal and disposal of the old boiler is included in the installation price. Ralf will disconnect, remove, and responsibly dispose of the old unit before fitting the new boiler. There are no additional charges for this.

If your existing heating system contains sludge, magnetite, or scale deposits, a power flush is strongly recommended before installing a new boiler. Most manufacturers require a clean system as a warranty condition. Ralf will inspect your system and advise honestly whether a power flush is needed.
