Full Heating System Upgrade with Vaillant ecoFIT Pure, St John's Wood NW8

Why the planning stage comes before the installation

It's tempting to judge a heating upgrade by the finished boiler on the wall, but the quality of a job is set well before that point. Routing pipework correctly, planning where the new manifold and filter will sit, and confirming clearances for future servicing all happen during the strip-out and design stage. Rushing this to get to the visible installation faster is one of the most common ways a heating upgrade ends up with awkward pipe runs boxed in behind a cupboard, or a filter positioned somewhere impossible to service without disruption.

The completed installation

The new Vaillant ecoFIT pure was housed inside a storage cupboard with the flue routed through the upper enclosure, copper pipework configured neatly to the side, and the system fully pressurised, powered, and tested before handover. Every radiator was checked for heat output, hot water flow confirmed, and the homeowner shown how to operate the controls and re-pressurise the system if ever needed.

Alongside the mechanical installation, a fused spur electrical switch box was mounted and wired to power the system safely. Because Pristine Gas Ltd is both Gas Safe registered and certified in electrical work, the full installation — gas and electrical — was completed in one visit, with no need to coordinate a separate electrician for the final connection.
